Director Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s debut film Aaranya Kaandam is one of the best films ever made in Kollywood. For his second film, Super Deluxe, he has roped in Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Akkineni and Fahadh Faasil to play the lead roles.

The film, which has been in the making for over a year, is in the post-production phase. According to the latest update, the first look of Super Deluxe will be released on October 8. Vijay Sethupathi took to Twitter to confirm the same.

As reported earlier, Vijay Sethupathi plays a transperson named Shipa in this thriller flick. Early this year, the teaser of the film was released and received an overwhelming response from the critics and audience.

Samantha who is all praise for Thiagarajan Kumararaja will play the role of Vaembu in the film.

Talking about the film, she said, “It’s an original film and I’m looking forward to it. Again, the trends are changing in Tamil and Telugu; people want to see something new and this is something that’s going to be shockingly new. It’s not very often that you get to work with a director like Thiagarajan, so I’m excited about that.”

Super Deluxe is expected to release at the end of 2018. An official confirmation regarding the film’s release date will be out soon.
