Lucifer, one of the most expected films of the year, is all set to hit the marquee on March 28th. With the film gearing up for release, movie buffs were waiting in anticipation to know if Prithviraj would be part of the star cast. Lucifer is his maiden directorial; therefore, fans were expecting him to be a part of the star cast as well.
Well, with the release just a few hours away, it has been revealed that Prithviraj is playing a role in the film. The character poster of the star is out and he will be seen playing the role Zayed Masood. There are various speculations about his role, but to know what it is exactly, we need to wait for the film’s release.
Lucifer has Mohanlal playing the lead role as Stephen Nedumpally with Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith, and the Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi in pivotal roles. Those in the supporting roles include Kalabhavan Shajon, Sai Kumar, Saniya Iyappan, director Fazil, Sunil Sughatha, Thara Kalyan, Praveena Thomas, Nyla Usha and Mala Parvathy.
For Tamil, Mohanlal had revealed that he and Manju Warrier have dubbed for their characters themselves. Mohanlal has a Tamil movie coming up with Suriya’s Kaappaan and Manju Warrier will also be starring in Dhanush’s Asuran.
The technical crew of the film comprises Sujith Vasudevan for cinematography and Samjith for editing while Stephen Devassy is in charge of the music composition. Veteran writer and actor Murali Gopy has penned the script for Lucifer which is touted to be a political thriller. Apparently, Mohanlal plays a politician in the film and his character is named Stephen Nedumballi. It is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas. Lucifer has been shot in various places in Kerala including Ernakulam, Idukki and Thiruvananthapuram and Mumbai and in some foreign locations as well.
Being actor Prithviraj’s maiden directorial, film buffs are just eager catch this movie at the theatres and the wait is almost coming to an end with its release scheduled tomorrow.
