On 08 January 2024, a motivational and a memorable FACE TO FACE session were organized at Dr GRD School of Commerce and International Business, Dr.GRD College of Science. This one and half an hour of session that took place in the GRD Kailash auditorium was interactive and fun filled.

Sylendra Babu, a well-known Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, has been associated with various events and initiatives, especially related to law enforcement and social causes. His journey in the police force spans various roles and responsibilities, showcasing his commitment to law enforcement and community welfare. Babu is recognized for his proactive approach to policing, implementing several groundbreaking initiatives to improve public safety and enhance police-public relations.

Sylendra Babu is known for his impactful speeches that often focus on leadership, ethics, and the role of law enforcement in society. His speeches reflect his rich experience in the police force and his commitment to bringing positive change.

His speeches are known for their motivational and inspirational tone, drawing from his own life experiences to encourage others, especially young individuals, to pursue their goals with determination and integrity.

The following are key points he shared with the students,

Critical thinking is an essential skill that involves analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting information in a logical and systematic manner. Developing critical thinking skills takes practice and conscious effort.

Curiosity motivates us to explore new ideas, ask questions, and seek information. Curiosity and critical thinking go hand in hand. It encourages us to analyze information, Evaluate different viewpoints, and make informed decisions.

Cultivating creativity involves exploring new experiences, embracing curiosity, allowing for mistakes and experimentation, and challenging conventional thinking. Creativity is the driving force behind innovation.

Cooperation is the act of working together towards a common goal or objective. Cooperation involves promoting open communication, active listening, empathy, and a willingness to compromise.

Communication is a fundamental part of life. Improving your vocabulary is a fantastic way to enhance English communication. Consistency and practice are crucial in expanding your vocabulary.

He also explained the secret of success which are;

1) Eat healthy food
2) Regular Exercise
a) Drinks out of water
4) Sleep well
5) Makes yourself happy
6) Educate yourself

He also spoke about how he preferred THE PERSENT over the past and the upcoming future. The speech involved letting us know about how not to think neither about the past nor the future. Present is what we should live for and experience each and every moment of the present life.

There was a question-and-answer session taken place where various students were curious about his life and Dr. Sylendra babu was so patient enough to answer all those questions with so much involvement and disturbed his own books.

He mentioned that the two most important days in our life are;
1) The day we were born
2) The day we realize why we are born

This session of Dr. Sylendra babu was both impactful and informative which might have a wonderful affect in students life for better lifestyle. The enthusiastic participation and engagement from students underscored the significance of Face-to-Face. As we move forward, the lessons learned and connections forged during this event will undoubtedly benefit. We extend our sincere appreciation to our college for this wonderful experience gaining session.
