Gastric pain? Here’s a homemade remedy

Gastric pain is commonly used to describe pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen. Other symptoms typically include heartburn, bloating, belching and nausea.

Usually disturbance of gastric mucosa leads to acid secretion. Gastric may be acute / chronic.

Acute gastric problem reduces quickly where as chronic gastric problems lead to ulcers. Causes of gastric mucosa inflammation are acidic food, alcohol, smoking, stress and drugs. Physical and mental stress can also cause ulceration.

Symptoms: Constant pain in stomach, indigestion, sometimes vomiting, loss of appetite, and chest burning sensation. Some of the drugs which cause gastric trouble are aspirin, erythromycin, and nicotine. Here is a homemade solution to overcome gastric problems.

Ingredients:

1. Medium-sized radish

2. One cup of soar curd /yogurt

3. A pinch of salt for taste

Instructions:

Clean the radish thoroughly. You can use a vegetable wash.

Cut or garnish the radish into smaller pieces.

Mix the radish with the sour curd only and add pinch of salt for taste

Should eat the mixture early in the morning with bare stomach.

For complete relief from gastric, one should eat 21 days continuously.

Try to avoid, spicy and fatty food like fried items. Excessive eating like large meals before bed, smoking and alcohol should be avoided.
