A four member Congress team comprising Team members included Sushmita Dev, Hibi Eden, Amrita Dhawan and Syed Nasser Hussain visited JNU to gather evidence on violence

A Four member fact-finding team of Congress party visited JNU on Wednesday. The team interacted with students and faculty about Sunday’s violence, where many received injuries.

Team members included Sushmita Dev, Hibi Eden, Amrita Dhawan and Syed Nasser Hussain. The team also videographed testimonies during interactions.

We met around 50-60 students, faculty members and invited all factions. The team also videographed verbatim on-record testimonies. We are confident of evidence galore, said Sushmita Dev.

The group visited Sabarmati Hostel and also spoke to JNU Teachers’ Association. The team is likely to submit the report by Friday morning to party chief Sonia Gandhi.

Crystal clear that students are willing to talk about the incident but nobody has come to them apart from media and us. Frankly, a government (MHRD)-mandated team should have approached these students. The incident seems like an open-andshut case, Dev added.
