Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy lost his cool at protesters at a thermal power station, where workers were demonstrating in front of his bus and shouted slogans at him.

Kumaraswamy was visiting Manvi taluk when he faced with stiff protests by the workers of Yermarus Thermal Power Station on Wednesday.

The chief minister was met with slogans of “shame, shame” while Kumaraswamy was on his way to Karegudda. The workers protested before the bus that Kumaraswamy was travelling in for his ongoing tour of villages.

Faced with the protests, Kumaraswamy got angry with the protesters. Kumaraswamy reached Manvi Taluk for his second village stay.

In a video shared by ANI, Kumaraswamy could be seen shouting at the protesters and asking them to move out of the way of his bus and stop shouting slogans.

Hundreds of protesters had gathered in front of Kumaraswamy’s bus and staged a demonstration.

Kumaraswamy has been facing many challenges in his government with the ongoing political crisis in the days after the Lok Sabha election results.

While the threat of BJP usurping power in Karnataka looms large over Kumaraswamy, the ruling coalition of JD(S) and Congress is on rocky grounds.
