If you are a fan of Indian thali and western desserts and looking for a place to have it in plenty, Citrus Café at Lemon Tree hotels in Kalapatti should be ideal. You get to have the best of both worlds for thali lunch offered at this 24X7 cafe inside the hotel.

It is vegetarian and non-vegetarian treat for foodies. The eight to nine- dish thali has delicious North and South Indian dishes, besides a dessert Indian and Western mix. There are two main courses, authentic South and North Indian. You get a kurma and a potato masala cooked the South Indian way. A mixed vegetable salad is also there, besides a South Indian starter. It can be a variety of oothappam with cheese or chocoloate along with kara chutney or idli podi, and a Malabar paratha.

The rice accompaniments have crackers and pappad and pickle varieties. The traditional South Indian lunch of rice comes with curry leaf podi and paruppu podi to be mixes with oil or ghee. You can top the lunch with a dessert of varieties of mousse, panna cotta and more; an Indian dessert has ghee mysoorpa or motichoor laddu and ice cream.

All this is for Rs 550, besides taxes between 12.30 pm and 3.30 pm any day.
