A mega museum of insects in Coimbatore

The insect museum spread over 6691 sq.ft in TNAU complex, Coimbatore houses 20000 insects from 50 species. Rare varieties of insects like cicadas not only from Tamil Nadu but also from Kerala and north eastern states are on display here. Priced at Rs.30 for students and Rs.50 for the public, a visit to this museum is not to be missed.
