Did you know ? Kolarampathy lake near Perur in Coimbatore has age old pillars sculpted with images of camels , fish and knife reportedly of the Pandiya kingdom in Tamil Nadu. The lake also has ancient findings like earthen pots buried inside the mud which are urns used to bury the dead in yesteryears. Fortunate or unfortunate, these have come to the fore because the lake is almost dry and polluted.
