Water scarcity looms large. Coimbatore people give suggestions for water conservation

With the NITI Aayog predicting total depletion of ground water in the major cities of India by the year 2020, we are facing a huge water scarcity in the future. Are the people aware of the seriousness of this issue? The Covai Post finds out from the public their suggestions for water conservation. The people came out with a slew of ideas ranging from recycling of water, rain water harvesting, desilting of water bodies and construction of new dams.
