The 2020 CPL was the 8th edition of the domestic T20 league played in the West Indies. The tournament was held from Aug 18 to Sep 10, with the games being played in Trinidad and Tobago. Unlike its predecessors, the 2020 season was played behind closed doors due to the pandemic restrictions. Additionally, the games were played in Trinidad only, whereas, in other seasons, they were played all over the 6 countries – Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica, and Saint Lucia.

The first and last 10 games of the tournament plus the playoffs were held at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy Stadium in Tarouba, while the rest were played at Queen’s Park Oval Stadium in Port of Spain. On the same note, the playoffs had 2 semis then the finals instead of the usual eliminator matches, which gives teams another chance to redeem themselves. The CPL 2021 Full schedule and Results

The tournament kicked off on Aug with the Guyana warriors facing off with the Trinbago Riders, check out the complete 2021 CPL schedule and watch all matches on time. Due to bad weather, the game was reduced to 17-overs a side, and the Riders managed to win by 4 wickets with 2 balls remaining. This was mostly thanks to Narine’s 50 runs from 28 balls.
