Couple attempt suicide in front of the Coimbatore collectorate

A couple from Ukkadam who was promised housing allotment through housing board by a person in their area ,collected money from several people and paid him 12 lakhs .But, the said person had neither got them the allotment nor repaid their money. Demanding justice, the couple attempted suicide in front of the collectorate . This caused a ruckus in that area for sometime.
