As V.O.C.Park in Coimbatore has a huge population of bats, and the NIPAH virus spreads through the urine and saliva of bats, the corporation has warned the people to refrain from eating any fruits that have fallen down in the park . Moreover, the fruit waste that comes from Kerala is also subjected to inspection.
