Xiaomi is planning to launch the Mi 11 Lite on June 22 in India. The smartphone has been listed on e-commerce website Flipkart ahead of the launch. The Mi 11 Lite has already launched globally and is coming to India as the fourth smartphone in the Mi 11 line-up. Xiaomi had launched the Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro and Mi 11 Ultra in April. The Mi 11 Lite will be the most affordable option of all.

It is also confirmed to be the slimmest and lightest smartphone of 2021. The smartphone has now been listed officially on the e-commerce platform. The Flipkart microsite highlights that the Mi 11 Lite is going to be 6.8mm thick and will weigh just 157 grams. Xiaomi has kept both these things quite low given what we see on other smartphones these days.

Xiaomi is planning to position this phone right next to the Mi 10i. The latter is already selling in the country at Rs 21,999 which means that the Mi 11 Lite price might also start around the same mark. There is a bleak chance that Mi 11 Lite might be priced less than Mi 10i but, that is highly unlikely.

At that price, the Mi 11 Lite will compete with the recently launched iQOO Z3 and OnePlus Nord CE 5G. Interestingly, both these smartphones come with 5G support while the Mi 11 Lite is only getting a 4G variant in the country.

The Indian variant of the smartphone will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor. It is the same chipset Poco used on the Poco X3. Xiaomi should launch the Mi 11 Lite with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Mi 11 Lite is expected to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 90 Hz refresh rate, 500 to 800 nits brightness and HDR 10+ support. The smartphone should have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

It is likely to feature a triple rear camera module with a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, the smartphone is likely to feature a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.Live TV
