New Delhi: International icon Priyanka Chopra is quite busy shooting for her superhit American televisions series ‘Quantico 3’. The desi girl has seen successful two seasons making a smooth way for her third season to be an equally kickass experience.

Back home, the latest buzz doing the rounds is that Piggy Chops might be seen in the sequel to her hit film ‘Aitraaz’. The movie released in 2004 and won her accolades and awards for portraying a negative character with much conviction on-screen.

‘Aitraaz’ was directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by ‘showman’ Subhash Ghai. According to Mumbai Mirror, Ghai is keen on making a sequel to the romantic thriller and wants Priyanka to play the lead.

The report quotes a source as saying, “It’s a new story with a new title. Subhash Ghai has already had a word with Priyanka Chopra and the two have discussed the film. She loves the idea of a sequel to a film which won her accolades for her performance in a negative role and is excited to feature in the second instalment of the franchise. She is keen to collaborate with Ghai again and has even told him that she will try working around her dates.”

Looks like once Priyanka is back to Mumbai city, there’s going to be a lot of work knocking at her door.

‘Aitraaz’ starred Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead and was hailed as an interesting watch at that time. The film had a unique storyline where the actors’ performances were appreciated. The screenplay was written by Shyam Goel and Shiraz Ahmed while Himesh Reshammiya composed the soundtrack.
