Coimbatore: The 12th International Achievers Award held in UAE on the 27th of April saw Dr. K. Sendhil Kumar, Chairman and Chief Surgical Gastroenterologist at gateway Clinics and Hospitals, Coimbatore being conferred upon for his work in Health excellence and quality Laparoscopy.
The Achievers’ Forum is known to felicitate and recognize individuals for their contribution in the fields of health, education, social work, business, technology and leadership..
For years, Social programmes in the form of free camps for poor along with helping of rural patients with free medicines were conducted. Laparoscopy Training program was given to younger generation surgeons to continue quality laparoscopy work in their respective states of India.
Dr. K. Sendhil Kumar was conferred upon this prestigious Award by Sunil Shastri (S/o Former Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri) and two other Union ministers in Dubai Government.
