COIMBATORE: An auto rickshaw driver in the city on Saturday handed over a laptop and a DSLR camera, worth over Rs. 1 lakh, to the police. The valuables were left behind by passengers in his vehicle.

According to police, Selvaraj, who has been in the profession for the last 10 years, noticed the laptop and the camera while taking his vehicle to the shed on Friday night.

Selvaraj, along with some of his colleagues, arrived at the Police Commissioner’s office on Saturday morning and handed over the things to the cops.

He informed the police that a few students, who had taken his auto, might have left back the laptop and camera back in the vehicle.
