Collector leads pledge for 100 per cent poll

Coimbatore : District Collector K Rajamani led an event where government officials took pledge to ensure 100 per cent voting in the upcoming elections.

Other government officials who took oath include Pollachi Electoral Officer and District Revenue Officer, Ramadurai Murugan, Sub-Collector (trainee) Sneha.

The district administration and electoral officers are taking various steps to ensure 100 per cent voting and distributing pamphlets, CDs and organising road shows, Rajamani said.

Meanwhile, teaching and non-teaching staff of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University also took a pledge for ensuring a free, fair and peaceful conduct of elections and to cast their votes in the elections.
