Man’s body found in a car

The body of a 27-year-old man was found in a car near Udampalayam on Saturday.

According to sources, the driver of a sedan car found a stranger seated inside his car earlier on Saturday. When he tried to wake the mysterious passenger, he found that the man was dead. The driver immediately called the police and a case was registered with the Peelamedu police station.

The dead man was identified as P. Venketesh from Karanampettai. He is survived by his wife and a 3-year-old son. Since bruises were found on the man’s knuckles, the police are investing the case as murder.
