303 new cases in the district

Coimbatore : Covid-19 positive cases continue to increase in the district, with 303 new cases reported today. It took the tally to 4,647.

Of the total, 2,868 were discharged and 1,729 are undergoing treatment in various hospitals and other places. The district so far reported 50 deaths, a State Medical Bulletin said

Erode reported 12 cases, taking the tally to 690 of which 504 were discharged and 177 are under treatment.

With 68 new cases, the total cases went up to 3,498 in Salem where 1,052 persons are undergoing treatment and 3,498 patients
discharged. A total of 30 deaths have been reported in Salem

In Tirupur, 32 fresh cases took the tally to 827 of which 501 were discharged and 316 are undergoing treatment, while the number of deaths is 10 .
