Five youth from Kerala who joined the IS in Afghanistan and were killed have been identified. They are Murshid Mohammad, Hafeezuddin, Yahya and Shejir Abdullah and were killed two months ago. This was informed to their family through social media telegram. The fifth was identified as Sibi from Kanjikode in Palakkad from Palakkad.
The telegram exhorted more Muslims from Kerala to join the outfit.
It flayed those engaged in entertainments during the month of Ramzan, saying it was `unislamic’.
The youths were working in Bahrain when they got the call to join the terror group. They vainly tried to reach Syria via Afghanistan and were killed during air raids by US war planes.
They had been missing since September 15 last year. The recruiter has prepared 30 audio clips to woo more youth to join the outfit.
