Canara Bank Staff Union passes resolutions

The Canara Bank Staff Union State Conference resolved to condemn the outsourcing of permanent jobs and insist on filling up the vacancies in the bank.

The Bank Employees Federation of India’s Canara Bank Employees union second State conference was held here on Saturday. The conference was presided over by Head of State R. Maheshwaran.

The conference was then inaugurated by ex-MP P.R. Natarajan of CPM. The resolutions passed at the conference included increasing the number of promotions and simplifying the examination system, filling up vacancies, full implementation of reservation, providing retiring rooms and separate wash rooms for women in every branch, bonus for all and to eliminate the ceiling.

Various representatives from all over Tamil Nadu attended the conference.
