Coimbatore to host dog show on December 20

About 400 dogs of different breed Indian and foreign will participate in the 55th All India All Breeds Championship Dog Show, organized by the Coimbatore Kennel Club, to be held on December 20.

Speaking to the reporters, the club’s vice president Ardhanari said that participating breeds include Belgian Shepard, Chihuahua, Great Dane, Hounds, Lhasa Apso, Mudho, Neagle, and Pointers. The canine unit, consisting of the sniffing dogs from the Tamil Nadu Police Dog Squad will be the major attraction of the show.

Jose Homem De Mello from Portugal, Derrisk Seow from Malaysia, and Rajendran M. Salvi from India, are the judges of the show. Around 350 dogs participated in the show last year.
