Coimbatore United Round Table 186 organizes Kutti Roadies for Kids

Coimbatore : Kutti Roadies ‘23 is a mega cycling event exclusively organized for children by Coimbatore United Round Table 186, a part of Round Table India. Formed in 2008, this young men’s organization comprising of businessmen and professionals, aims to provide community service activities across India. Kutti Roadies first edition was in 2019 and is back again in 2023 for its second edition. A fundraiser event, the whole proceeds go towards community service activities. One of the prime causes driven by The Round Table India- Freedom through Education aims at providing infrastructure and support schooling of underprivileged children in our society.

RTI has built 8,665 classrooms in 3,616 schools all across India costing more than 437 crores. These classrooms have benefitted more than 95.3 Lakh under privileged Children which means on an average Round Table India has built more than 1 class room per day. The first edition of Kutti Roadies fundraiser made a collection of Rs 2,00,000/- while the second edition has set a target of Rs/- 10,00,000. Kutti Roadies’ 23 has seen registration of around 1,000 kids. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. G. Chandeesh, DCP, North Coimbatore. Other dignitaries present at the event were Tr. Karthik Manikandan, Chairman, Tr. Satish Krishna, Secretary and Bluewin Jose, Treasurer, Coimbatore United Round Table 186 on December 03rd in Codissia Grounds from 06:00 AM onwards.
