College student commits suicide

A 19-year old third year engineering student, studying at a private college at Ealur Pirivu near Coimbatore-Pollachi Main Road here, committed suicide on Thursday.
According to sources, the deceased, J. Albert Gnanaraj from Srivilluputhur was studying Civil Engineering at VSB Engineering College and was staying in a rented room along with three more students.
He was reportedly suffering from mental disorders for the past two years. On Thursday, Albert did not go to college. When his roommates returned to the room they found him hanging from the roof. The Perur Sub-Division Police have registered a case and have started the investigation.
