Comedy show for a cause

In order to raise funds for their on-going projects, Coimbatore-based NGO Swarga Foundation recently hosted a fund-raising stand-up comedy show titled, ‘Second Decoction – Stuck in the Middle Class!’ Actor, director, and stand-up comedian Karthik Kumar thoroughly entertained his audience with rib-tickling comedy.
Second Decoction – Stuck in the Middle Class! was hosted in two venues in Coimbatore on the same day. Both the venues, we are told, had a packed audience. A release from the foundation stated that Karthik donated Rs.40,000 from the ticket sales of the event towards their cause.
NGO Swarga Foundation works with patients suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and other neuro-muscular disorders. On a regular basis, the founders of Swarga Foundation organize several awareness programmes to sensitize the public about these disorders.
