CREDAI Coimbatore recently organised “CONNECT+ 1.0” a Vendor Round Table Meet at
The Residency Coimbatore. Welcoming the participants Mr. Gugan Ilango, President CREDAI Coimbatore stated that this initiative which is a platform for connecting innovative Building Materials and Service Providers in the industry with Developers is first of its kind in South India.

Several innovative product manufacturers and Purchase Managers of several property developers participated and exchanged ideas. Mr. Abhishek, Vice President and Mr. Rajiv Ramasamy, Treasurer, CREDAI Coimbatore moderated the discussion.
Mr. V. Balakrishnan, IPS, Commissioner of Police who was the Chief Guest complemented CREDAI Coimbatore for organising this unique event. He stated that Coimbatore one of the fastest growing cities in the country has been a forerunner in several fields such as Science & Technology, Education, industry and construction. While the rest of the world has been suffering from slowdown and recession, India has been able to have steady growth rate, thanks to the dynamic entrepreneurs in the country. Construction sector is very closely connected with the rest of the economy.

Technology has come to play in every section of the construction from designing and planning to execution. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is bound to play a significant role in the coming days and it would be ideal to have hybrid mix of human intelligence and AI to have better synergy. He stressed the need for creating greater awareness about safety among construction workers and to have regular training to avoid accidents.
