Leaders file nominations

Top leaders of Tamil Nadu, including the current and former Chief Ministers, J. Jayalalithaa and Mu. Karunanidhi, respectively, filed their nominations at their constituencies today.
While Jayalalithaa filed her papers from the R.K. Nagar constituency, 92-year-old Mu. Karunanidhi filed his nominations from Tiruvarur. Both the leaders are seeking re-elections from their respective constituencies.
Among the other top leaders to file their nominations today were the PMK’s chief minister candidate Dr Anbumani, who filed his papers at Pennagaram, and senior BJP leader, H. Raja, who will contest from T. Nagar.
