We all remember the musical ‘My Fair Lady,’ about Eliza Doolittle, a working-class English girl who takes speech lessons from Professor Henry Higgins, a teacher in phonetics, so that she may pass as a noble-society lady. Back home in Coimbatore, the heads of various schools met to discuss the best way to promote adaptive learning platform among school children, while learning the English language. This technology-enabled educational firm was an initiative of Thulir Learning Solutions.
“The current educational system of “one-size-fits-all” does not address the specific needs of learning in children and leaves many of them behind. It takes a good teacher to ensure that children comprehend English in its basic elements and imbibe it with all its subtle hues and variations,” Saravanan, CEO and Founder of Thulir Learning Solutions, said.
This learning centre offers their English learning programme online, that is structured and integrated and has been created for children from kindergarten level up to those in Class VIII. “Thulir English is a multilevel programme which progresses from phonics to Foundation, and then to Primary. The outcomes of the programme are aligned with CEFR (Common European framework for Foreign language) standards. The core vision behind the programme is to empower children and promote self-learning through effective leverage of technology,” Ranjani, Global Head of Thulir Learning Solutions, said.
