The Nehru Group of Institutions (NGI) is planning to set up an exclusive management development centre for skill-development in managers across all domains of management.
Apart from sharpening and hone their skills, and the centre aims to develop the whole person through behavioural science workshops and labs, NGI CEO and secretary P Krishnakumar told reporters here today.
The special features of the programmes, designed for one, two or three days or for a week, organised by the centre is that the training modules and inputs use the Gestalt approach, he said. The centre will be a one stop skill development centre and mangers aspiring to further interest in the areas of management research and consultancy would be offered specific programmes.
The programme will take managers through everyday accounting, the business of finance, training and development, social media marketing, marketing research, budgeting and forecasting, risk management, balance score card and social media tools assessments, said the centre’s chief mentor Dr R Venkatapathy.
