Mettupalayam trains to be cancelled partially from Feb 1 to March 3

Express and passenger trains from Mettupalayam will be cancelled partially for 31 days from February due to platform works being done at the railway station.

According to a Southern Railways statement, owing to engineering and related works to increase of platform length at Mettupalayam station for accommodating 23 coaches, express and passenger trains will be partially cancelled from February 1 to March 3.

Trains 12671 and 12672 Blue Mountain Chennai Central to Mettupalayam have been partially cancelled between Coimbatore and Mettupalayam and will operate from Coimbatore Junction.

Trains 56145, 56146, 56147, 56148, 56149, 16150, 56151 and 56144 Coimbatore-Mettupalayam-Coimbatore passenger will be partially cancelled between Karamadai and Mettupalayam. These passenger trains will be operated up to and from Karamadai.
