UDAYA SANKAR, Deputy Director NASSCOM, Government relations and Skilling Initiatives. addressed Dr. G. R. Damodaran college of science on 12.12.2023.

He is having 15 years of cross cultural experience in Sales, Business development, General management, Customer success, Human resource and Business operations. And also he is passionate educationalist who campaigns the cause of education for Every child.

His mission to bridge the skill gap between students, Institutions and employers. In addition through which he tries to contribute to the society by providing free education to the students.

He addressed the gathering about the set of skills required to be active in the current job market. Those skills are

Communication skills
Technical skills
Networking skills
Problem Solving
Logical thinking

He highlighted that the balance should be maintained between Technical skills and soft skills. He also intensified the scope of technology in the sector, AI, IoT, Cyber security, Cloud Computing and Hybrid working.

Being the deputy director at NASSCOM, he specified the functioning of NASSCOM in Information technology industries. NASSCOM is a not for profit industry Association, is the APEX body of technology industry in India. They play a vital role in strengthening IT industry.
