Not thought of entering politics, wants do films

Coimbatore : The Bahubali fame, Rana Daggupati on Tuesday said that he has not thought of entering politics and wanted to do films.

Replying to a specific question on entering politics, as many young film actors are doing, Rana said that he wanted to do film one by one and never thought of politics.

It is personal for actors to enter politics, like Rajanikanth and Kamala Hassan, he said.

“I like politics for drama, as it has good drama and do films on such dramas,” he said.

On doing films in Tamil, he said that the situation now has changed as there was no no language bar for a film. Any film, with a universal subject has wide acceptance in entire India.

A Tamil director, with Telugu hero doing a Hindi film was well received in the entire county, Rana said.

Rana, here to participate in Mahashivarathri Celebrations organised by Isha foundation last night, launched ‘Longines’ Conquest V.H.P. “Very High Precision” collection of watches in the city at Zimsons, this afternoon.
