November 14 is observed as the World Diabetes Day. On the occasion, a smartphone app was launched in Coimbatore that helps patients keep their diabetes in control.

Sano-tech conducted a free medical camp today morning at the Race Course. Volunteers helped visitors check their blood pressure and sugar levels. Mr. Karthik Muthuswami, CTO and Co- Founder of Sano-tech said, “Diabetes has become a common disease that affects a number of people. We have come up with a smartphone app which maintains all the data of the patient. The patient can interact with their doctors on the app. The doctors can check your sugar levels and give their feedback and suggestions regularly. We will also be adding more features to the app soon.”

Most of the visitors at the medical camp were people who were out for their morning jogging and workout sessions. They were drawn in by the curiosity to know about the app.
