The leaders of the People Welfare Front (PWF) coalition announced their plans to hold meetings in each constituency of Coimbatore to create awareness about their pre-poll manifesto.

With state elections just a few months away, the district leaders of constituent parties of PWF met and decided to launch the campaign from January 3. The meeting was chaired by MDMK district secretary RR Mohan Kumar, and attended by CPI district secretary KM Selvaraj, CPI-M state committee member and former MP PR Natarajan, Viduthalai Chruthaigal Katchi secretary Joe Ilakkiyan, and others.

The campaign will begin on January 3 at Valparai and end at Coimbatore South on January 22. All the 10 assembly constituencies in the district will be covered in the three weeks.
