A three-day meet on Inclusion and Response to Intervention – A Global Perspective begins here tomorrow at the Avinashilingam University campus.
The meeting will bring together academicians and educators to discuss the Response to Intervention (RTI) learning framework, designed in the United States. It aims to lend a helping hand to academically weak students from the schools funded or run by government so that they could perform better in class.
The system takes advantage of frequent assessments, tiered small group interactions and teacher collaboration to speed up the learning process.
“The meeting will give insight for teachers, academicians, policy makers and students. Speakers from various countries are participating in the conference,” Dr. Premavatby Vijayan, Vice-Chancellor (i/C) told reporters here.
