The Tamil Nadu state government has not sought the help of the centre for flood relief funds, H. Raja, the national secretary of BJP, said here on Saturday.

Inaugurating the Konga Madu application, a special app to protect the Konga Kangeyam Cows from extinction at a private College, Raja accused the state government of not seeking the centre’s help so far despite the heavy damage caused by the rains.

“The floods occurred due to the lack of preparation from the state government to meet the monsoon,” he said.

He revealed that the central government is working on an order to stage Jallikattu in 2016. “The government is also eager to help the Jallikattu bulls and the people involved in it,” he added.

About the Bihar election results, Raja said that it was a lesson for the party and added that they would make the necessary corrections in future.
