Training on multi nutrient management in soils organised in TNAU

An eight-day training program focused on multi nutrient management in soils and ways to increase crop productivity using technology was conducted at the Tamil Nadu Agriculture University (TNAU).

A model training course on “Good Agricultural Practices for alleviating multi nutrient deficiencies in soils and plants was conducted from 21 to 28 Nov. The training course was attended by middle level extension officers of the Department of Agriculture and Horticulture from throughout the nation.

The program was sponsored by the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India.

Dr P Malarvizhi, Professor (Soil Science), Dr K Kumar, Special Officer (DNRM), Dr C Jayanthi, Director (Crop Management) were the speakers at the valedictory event.

Dr K Ramasamy, Vice Chancellor, TNAU, distributed the certificates to the participants.
