G. Kaliammal, resident of Ondipudur, has submitted a petition to the District Collector about her neighbours who were allegedly indulging in prostitution and other illicit activities.

In the petition Kaliammal has said that Mr. Vinodkumar had been staying on rent from February 12, 2015. His relatives had been behaving suspiciously. Women and men were visiting the house at midnight and were making too much noise.

When she had a doubt that prostitution and other illicit activities were going on, she and other neighbours confronted to Vinodkumar. He was asked to vacate the house. But he did not do so, and continued to reside there without paying rent. A court case pertaining to this was going on in the Civil Court since July 20, 2015.

Vinodkumar had also used foul language to abuse Kaliammal. She has also mentioned in the petition that she had given a complaint at the B-5 Singanallur Police Station. But they had dismissed the complaint pointing out that it was a civil issue and hence could not be handled by them. So, as a last resort she had approached the Collector seeking protection for her family and also urging her to take strict action against the B-5 police.
