This for sure is an understatement considering the enormity of the phenomenon called G D Naidu. The trials and tribulations of this wonderful life have been portrayed excellently by the director Krishnakumar Ramakumar. The screenplay keeps the audience engaged throughout …Full marks to the director and Madhavan for the job.

Madhavan has lived as GDN and has captured the larger than life image of GDN to the T.
Jayaram as the honest income tax collector who is a foe turned friend of GDN plays his character excellently.

Sathyaraj with his sublime acting skills adds to flavour.

Priyamani , Dushara Vijayan and Thambi Ramaiah are all icings on the cake. The music is helmed by Govind Vasantha and comes as a whiff of fresh air.

The wonderful life of GDN , a Neophile and novaturient , is depicted neatly. We all knew about the Edison of coimbatore who did not undergo any formal school education but the nuances and intricacies of this beautiful mind have been chronicled in a way that increases one’s respect for this self taught scientist a million times. For someone like me who has lived in coimbatore for the past 23 years the odyssey of GDN is a revelation and am sure that when I cross the museum again will definitely look at it with awe and respect.

GDN belongs not only to coimbatore but to the whole of India and will continue to inspire generations and generations yet to come.
A must watch celluloid saga….and in the words of Sir C V Raman, truly A Man in a million……
