It’s her work that’s keeping her busy these days, but Ankita Lokhande finds her personal life in news too often. Her break-up with Sushant Singh Rajput made hadlines back in 2016. Rumours suggested Sushant’s closeness to Raabta co-actor Kriti Sanon being the reason behind their bitter break up.

Two years post the break-up, Sushant is busy with his professional commitments. Ankita, too, is gearing up for her big Bollywood debut. She will essay the role of Jhalkaribai in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.

When asked if she’s still in touch with her ex-boyfriend Sushant, she told Mumbai Mirror, “I’ve always been open about my last relationship but even when I was in one, I didn’t talk about my personal life, and I don’t need to talk about it now. If it’s my career, I can talk to you for hours, but not about this.”

Going by this, it seems Ankita has moved on, and wants to concentrate on her career right now.

The film, which stars Kangana Ranaut in titular role, will hit the screens this year.
