When we embark on a weight loss journey, first thing that we do is avoid fattening foods. If we have to lose fat that is already stored in our body, it would be foolish to add up more of it. Another thing that nutritionists suggest is to have more of proteins. There’s a reason why almost all dieters load up on boiled chicken to consume lots of proteins. Having flavourless, boiled chicken can get boring after some time. We say, why devoid yourself from the joy of eating delicious foods as long as they are low-fat and weight-loss-friendly? Instead of chicken leg or thigh, chicken breast is used in this recipe as it is less fattening than others. Also no oil is used to cook the chicken. Only a little amount of ghee is used in the marination of the chicken. The marinade is made with yogurt, fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) and ginger garlic paste. This injects a tremendous amount of flavour in the chicken breast and after it is cooked, it can be eaten alone. Of course, it’s your choice to pair it with chutney and onions to bag more flavours.
