Coimbatore: Chennai Super Kings is all set to go bang bang straight away in the IPL. After a thrilling win in their comeback match the team will be looking to further step up their success tale when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders in their second match of the tournament on Tuesday. Tickets for the game have already been sold out with fans ready to welcome the Yellow Jersey after a two-year-long wait.

It takes on KKR at the Chepauk and expectations will definitely weigh upon the CSK players because it is in their home ground. The dramatic win over Royal Challengers Bangalore has provided KKR with a much-required boost before another high intensity game. KKR with its star-studded line up including the likes of Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine and Mitchell Johnson is likely to offer another cracker of a game against the most successful team in IPL history.

Narine’s confidence will be high, following his performance against Royal Challengers Bangalore where he contributed when it mattered the most. On the other hand, the performance of Bravo was a good omen for CSK with the swashbuckling Caribbean doing well both with the bat and ball.

Though Chennai lacks good openers, the likes of Shane Watson, Faf Du Plessis, Dwayne Bravo and MS Dhoni, in particular, should give it the much-required depth to perform in crunch games. With the traditional Chepauk pitch providing assistance to spinners, not having the services of Mitchell Santner will be a big blow for the home team. The Kiwi spinner suffered an injury prior to the tournament and will not be part of CSK this season. With Santner being ruled out it all comes down to how the spin duo of Harbhajan and Jadeja performs on a slow and turning track.

CSK will also miss the services of all-rounder Kedar Jadhav after he suffered a hamstring injury in the opening game against Mumbai Indians. The match starts tomorrow at 8 pm.
