Coimbatore: Harmanpreet Kaur’s all-round performance helped India register its second win over Thailand in the fifth match of the Women’s Asia Cup on Monday. After adding a convincing total on the board, Indian bowling attack lead by Harmanpreet Kaur restricted Thailand to 66 which was also the margin in 20 overs to secure second win and top the table.

India started its innings slowly with Smriti Mandhana is the first to fall in the second ball of the ninth over. A quick firing knock from Harmanpreet helped India post a healthy score.In reply, Thailand lost their opener early and wickets fell in a regular interval which made them score only 66 in 20 overs. Harmanpreet took 3 wickets with an economy of 3.7 and was named Man of the Match.

Scores: India 132-4 (Meshram 32, Harmanpreet 27) bt Thailand 66 for 8 in 20 overs (Harmanpeet 3 for 11, Deepti Sharma 2 for 16) .
