HMD Global is on a roll of late. Reports flooding the internet suggest that the Finland-based smartphone manufacturer is currently working on two smartphones — the Nokia 9 and the Nokia X7, which is the follow-up device of the Nokia X5 and the X6 launched very recently. A lot has already been talked about both the smartphones, but now, images of front panels of both the handsets have leaked showing off notch-less screens.

Coming to the alleged Nokia 9 image first, the phone is seen with much thinner bezels compared to the predecessor Nokia 8. Surprisingly, the Nokia 9, as the previous rumours and leaks suggested, isn’t seen with notched display in the new front panel images. In the leaked image, the Nokia 9 is seen with notch-less screen and very thin bezels all around. The top bezel includes the sensor, earpiece and the selfie camera.

There’s also no fingerprint sensor on the front, which means, the Nokia 9 will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, or HMD Global might just bring the in-display fingerprint sensor to the phone. Considering the handset is expected to sport fiver rear cameras — as the previous reports suggest, if HMD Global puts the sensor below or beside the 5 cameras, the rear panel might just look too cluttered, which may not be very attractive to look at.

The Nokia 9 has been subjected to several leaks and rumours in the last couple of weeks. So, we already know a lot about the phone. The Nokia 9 is expected to sport Penta-lens camera setup with a fixed primary sensor and switchable secondary sensor. Reports also suggest that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845, glass back, and dual SIM support. As suggested by the Samsung’s buyback page on its Latvian website, the Nokia 9 will come in both single and dual SIM option. As per the list, the upcoming Nokia phone will have four variants — 64GB single SIM, 64GB dual SIM, 128GB single SIM and 128GB dual SIM.

Besides the Nokia 9, the front panel image of the Nokia X7 has also leaked. In contrary to the Nokia 9, the Nokia X7 is seen with thick bezels, but there’s also a similarity. The Nokia X7 is also seen in notch-less screen. HMD Global has already teased the Nokia X7. Not much is know about the phone right now apart from the fact that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710.
