OnePlus 6 specs leaked on Chinese certification site, show it will come with 20MP rear camera

In couple of weeks from now OnePlus 6 will be launched in India. Ahead of its launch, the phone has made an appearance at the website of TENAA, a Chinese certification agency. The 6GB variant of the OnePlus 6 has been certified by TENAA and some of its key specifications have been uploaded on the website. The specs confirms the details such as the processor inside the OnePlus 6 that have already been revealed as well shows new information related to the phone’s camera and battery.

The specs at TENAA reveal that the OnePlus 6 will come with dual camera system, where the primary camera will use a 20-megapixel sensor paired with a secondary camera that will have a 16-megapixel sensor. On the front the phone is going to have a 16-megapixel camera. The listing also reveals that the OnePlus 6 will come with a 3300 mAh battery.

There are also some details related to the phone’s screen. We already know that the OnePlus 6 will come with the largest screen ever put in a OnePlus phone. This was confirmed by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei. The screen will also have a notch. Now the Chinese certification agency reveals that this screen will have a resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels and size of 6.28-inches. The screen will use AMOLED panel, probably sourced from Samsung.

Dimensions of the OnePlus 6 have also been revealed. It is likely to measure 155.7×75.35×7.75mm and will probably weigh around 177 grams, which is quite good considering the expected size of the phone. The phone will use Oxygen OS based on Android Oreo.

The latest information adds to all those specs and features that have already been confirmed by OnePlus about its upcoming phone. The OnePlus 6 phone launches in India on May 17 and will go on a limited sale on may 21 and May 22. The OnePlus 6 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, will come with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. It is also going to come with a bit of redesign, with its back made of glass. It will be water and dust-proof and will come with improved versions of Face Unlock and Dash charging, hints OnePlus.

The special version of OnePlus 6 called OnePlus 6: Avengers Infinity War Edition is likely to be the most expensive variant of the OnePlus 6 with a price of around Rs 45,000. This variant of the OnePlus 6 may come with a back made of some exotic material like Kevlar. The regular variant of the OnePlus 6 is likely to cost less than Rs 40,000. The leaks so far hints that the OnePlus 6 price in India will start from Rs 36,999, but so far nothing has been confirmed officially. But irrespective of the exact price, one thing that is almost certain is that the OnePlus 6 will have a starting price higher than that of the OnePlus 5T, which debuted at Rs 32,999 last year.
