Both the Redmi Note 7 series phones have a lot in common but then there are some big differences too. Xiaomi claims that Snapdragon 675 SoC will be “ideal for all users, whether they’re Battle Royale gamers or social media buffs.” Notably the Note 7 Pro is the world’s first Snapdragon 675 phone available under Rs 20,000. The Redmi Note 7, in comparison, is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor. The Note 7 is the first Snapdragon 660 phone to be available under Rs 10,000.

–The next big difference between the two Redmi Notes is the camera department. Both the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro come with dual camera setup on the back panel while on the front there’s just a single sensor for capturing selfies which sit inside the Dot Drop notch.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is the first ever 48MP camera phone from Xiaomi to come to India. For the primary 48MP rear camera Xiaomi uses Sony IMX586 sensor and advanced signal processing of the Spectra 250L ISP which is mostly found in expensive premium level phones. The 48MP camera comes with a wide aperture of /1.79. The Redmi Note 7 Pro also includes several interesting camera features like live portraits, live studio portraits, among others. The secondary 5MP camera sensor on the back allows users to click depth shots or portrait or bokeh pictures. The Redmi Note 7 Pro also comes with Steady Handheld Night Photography mode that allows users to click great shots, even in the low-light conditions.

In comparison, the Redmi Note 7 includes a 12MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup. On the front both the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro include a 13MP AI based selfie shooter.

–The Redmi Note 7 comes in two variants – the base model with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage while the second model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Redmi Note 7 Pro in comparison also comes in two variants – base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and second or top-end model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

–The price of the two phones are different, of course.
