Samsung’s Galaxy S10 Lite has found its way to Indian shores after a few days of being launched in Las Vegas earlier in the month. The smartphone has been launched in India as a device that’s heavy on specs but comes in at an aggressive price point.

The S10 Lite’s pricing sees the phone become the second sub Rs 40k segment device to have been launched this week after the company also decided to bring the Galaxy Note 10 Lite to India to take on the OnePlus 7T.

The Galaxy S10 Lite misses out on a few key premium features that help the Note 10 Lite stand out. However, it compensates for the loss by bringing to the table, flagship specs – including last year’s flagship Snapdragon chipset that’s still quite popular in the premium segment of the market.

Here’s what the Galaxy S10 Lite brings to the table.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite: Specification
Display: Uses an edge-to-edge 6.7-inch Infinity-O display capable of Full HD+ resolutions and a pixel density of 394 ppi.

RAM: Launched in a single 8GB of RAM variant.

Storage: Single variant with 128GB of storage.

Rear cameras: Triple cameras set-up with the primary lens being a 48-megapixel main camera sat next to a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro lens.

Selfie camera: The front of the phone features a 32-megapixel lens for clicking selfies.

Battery: 4500mAh battery with 25W Super Fast charging

Operating System: Android 10-based One UI 2

Samsung S10 Lite: Features
Unlike the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, the lite variant of the S10 focuses on impressing the user with its core specs. As such, the device comes sporting a Snapdragon 855+ chipset, that continues to be used on flagships including the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro. It also pairs it with 8GB of RAM for improved performance.

Apart from this, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite also attempts to woo buyers with its promise of impressive photography as it comes packing three cameras at the back. The primary lens in this set-up is a 48-megapixel shooter which sat next to a 12-megapixel ultra-wide and 5-megapixel macro-lens should prove to be quite good for clicking in all lighting conditions.

Samsung S10 Lite: Price
Samsung’s latest Galaxy device has been launched in India at a competitive price of Rs 39,999. For the price, the device brings with itself 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone has been launched as a Flipkart exclusive and will be available for purchase via the e-commerce platform starting next month.
