Xiaomi has announced that it is dropping the weekly flash sale model for the Mi TV 4A. The Mi TV 4A 32-inch and 43-inch, that buyers have had a tough time getting their hands on, will now be available through open sale. This means potential buyers will be able to buy the Mi TV 4A 32-inch and 43-inch round the clock, of course until stocks last. The Mi TV 4A, to recall, is exclusive to Flipkart and Mi.com/in.

Both the size variants of the Mi TV 4A were launched in March this year. While the 32-inch Mi TV 4A comes at a price of Rs 13,999 the bigger 43-inch version of the Mi TV 4A costs Rs 22,999.

While the 32-inch Mi TV 4A supports HD resolution (1366×768 pixel) the 43-inch Mi TV 4A has a full-HD resolution (1920×1080). Both the TVs boast of a refresh rate of 60Hz and come powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic T962 Cortex-A53 processor coupled with Mali-T450 GPU. Both the TVs come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of flash storage. Both of them come with Wi-Fi (802.11ac), along with 20W speakers with support for DTS audio. The 32-inch Mi TV 4A has 3 HDMI ports (including 1 ARC port), and 2 USB ports, as well as an Ethernet port. The 43-inch Mi TV 4A, on the other hand, features the same 3 HDMI ports, but features 3 USB ports along with an S/PDIF port.

The Mi TV 4A, much like the 55-inch Mi TV 4, is also based on Android and runs Xiaomi’s custom ROM called PatchWall. PatchWall is based on “deep learning AI that references metadata to make intelligent content recommendations tailored to you,” according to Xiaomi which means it’s always learning and evolving. PatchWall, because it is AI-driven, comes with the ability to learn a user’s viewing habits and then accordingly it suggests content based on their preferences.

The Mi TV 4A also supports almost every prominent set-top box that’s available in India like Tata Sky and Dish TV, down to even those that are offered by local players like Hathway and Siti cable. Xiaomi is claiming some fantastic numbers with content as well: 500,00 hours of content spread across 12 Indic languages.
