India decides not to send representative for Pakistan National Day event in New Delhi

The government on Friday decided that India will not send any official representative to the Pakistan National Day event at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.
The development comes after it was found that Pakistan had decided to invite J&K separatist leaders to the event,sources said.
It comes as the government has had a low tolerance policy towards the separatist leaders following the Pulwama terror attack on the CRPF personnel.
In February,the Jammu and Kashmir administration withdrew security of 18 separatists and 155 political persons,including PDP leader Wahid Parra and IAS officer Shah Faesal.
Further,this month,the National Investigation Agency (NIA) summonned to top Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Naseem Geelani, son of separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was called for questioning related to 2017 Jammu and Kashmir terror funding case.
On February 26,the NIA raided Mirwaiz’s residence at Nigeen, Srinagar and the search went on for over six hours.
